RC Boat Racing produces a large problem for admin people and lap counters. the SCS Timing solution offers the answer. A transponder is fitted to each boat and they are lapped scored as they pass start finish.
The signal is then detected by the decoder system on-shore at race control. The system will detect the boat for every pass of the start finish. it also has the capability to ignore false detection should the circuit have a close front and back straight.
